Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student needs the support of a community to ensure their success as a learner and as a 21st century citizen. This can be achieved through challenging, rigorous work and a shared responsibility for a safe and supportive learning environment. Teachers should use every tool, technology, and teaching style to engage, involve, and teach every student. Understanding the differences in learning styles and modifying lessons to ensure understanding is the most important skill a teacher must have. If the goals are attainable, when met, all students will be able to demonstrate the ability to work together, think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, and contribute as self-sufficient members of society.
